How are you? I hope that you are doing well. All through
this month, I have been writing letters and I thought that I must write to you
as well. Writing has always been therapeutic to me and writing all these
letters was even more relaxing. And with people like you reading it, it is all
the more awesome!
Each letter that I wrote was special to me. Each one touched
about some aspect of my life. There were some about the most important people
in my life, the people who have influence me, the choices that I had to make,
the opportunities I had and the ones I missed, to the things close to my heart.
And writing about all this made me realize one thing. Though our lives are so
different yet they are so similar. All of us have people and things that we
love the most, we have things that make us happy and things that make us sad.
The things might differ but the feelings remain. And most of the time we feel
that there are questions troubling us for which we have no answers. But if we
analyze our life so far, trust me the answers are not so far away. We just have
to look for them.
“It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what
you are not.”
― André Gide, Autumn Leaves
So often we just pretend to be who we aren’t only because
that we want to be the way others want us to be. We are confused about what we
want to do in life, but in the depth of our hearts we know what we want to do.
We let the society and circumstances win over our dreams. If only we listened
to our hearts and did what we really wanted to! Just imagine how happy we could
all be. Happy people spread happiness and cheer around. How much better a place
the world would be if we could spread only smiles each day!
You may have read all the letters that I wrote for this
series or you might have read a few or may be none at all. Whatever be the
case, I am grateful. Grateful because it was through this series I spoke my
heart out and I am grateful to you because each of the comments, each share on
social media, each word of encouragement made my day. It is the little things
in life that matter the most to me. And you my dear friend have made me happy. Just
hope that you are happy always and may your dreams come true.
I'm taking up the #AtoZChallenge and my theme is "A letter for a letter". So make sure you read
all the letters from A to Z.
