Dear Nature,
You indeed are a beauty. I’ve been admiring you from the time I
was a little girl. You have always been my go to place when I feel sad or
lonely. Being with you instantly brightens me up. You indeed have a therapeutic
effect.
I love the riot of colours that you have. The bright blue skies
with those white clouds adrift, the myriad shades of green that adorn the
plants and trees, the million hues of the flowers, the birds, the butterflies,
the earthy shades of brown, the lovely bursts of colours that the sky has at
sunrise and sunset and the ultimate rainbow in the sky. Everything is so
colourful, so beautiful.
What amazes me is the delicate balance that you have. How
everything is special in its own way, yet it depends on something else. You
make the creatures adapt to you. Every creature is blessed with a power of its
own. You indeed are a marvel.
"Look deep into
nature, and then you will understand everything better."
-Albert
Einstein
There are so many
things that you teach us. So many life lessons are to be learned from you.
Every cloud has a silver lining. Like the sunshine after the rain that makes a
rainbow, sometimes we need to wash away our pain with the little joys of life
to be able to see the rainbow in our lives. The hard work of the ants, the art with which
a weaver bird weaves its nest, to follow the sun like the sunflower- you have a
lot of things to teach. If only all of us paid attention to what you teach us
every day!
What have we done
instead? We have cut trees indiscriminately, used up all the resources that you
gave us, polluted your precious air and water! We have destroyed that intricate
balance that you had maintained. We are bringing upon our own doom. How I wish
I could do something to make things better. I’m doing my little bit, but wish I
could do more.
Thank you for all
your wonders. I feel safe and happy when you are around. I just pray that all
of us humans realize your worth and work together to preserve you.

all the letters from A to Z.
