Dear Friends,
I hope that you are fine and happy wherever you are.
Friendship is one of the best connections that we humans have and I am glad
that I have a friend like you. Well we humans always find it difficult to live
alone, isn’t it? We always need someone to hear us out, someone who would offer
a shoulder to cry on, who would always stand by us no matter how difficult the
situation might be. When I think about my life, I wonder what I’d do without a
friend.
“Walking with a friend in the dark
is better than walking alone in the light.”
- Helen
Keller
When I was a kid you shared your toys with me. We grew up
studying together in the same school. Life was simple then and no matter what
you were always there to support me. As time passed by, we had a lot more to
share, our problems became more complex. We shared smiles, we shared tears but
most importantly we shared our fears. We made fun of each other but when
someone else made fun of either of us, we stood together as a team. We laughed
when the other fell, but after laughing you would always ensure that I wasn’t
hurt. Thank you every single moment.
Your friendship has made my life beautiful.
Time passed by and the distance began to grow. We have to
live in different cities and it is difficult to meet. Social media is always
there to ensure that we don’t lose touch but sadly because of the busy lives
that we are leading we don’t find the time.
There have been times when I have hurt you- may be by
something I said or something that I did. But trust me, I never meant to hurt
you. I always thought you would trust me more than you trust others, but why
then sometimes do you believe more in what others say about me than what I do?
Please dear friend, let us not let the distance come in between us. I am sorry
for all my mistakes. I always hope that when I need you, you will be there for
me and I promise that I’ll be there for you whenever you need me.
Love,
Reema
