And it is December- one of my most favourite months of the
year. I can’t believe that it is December already. Where did the year 2015 go?
I just don’t know. Do you feel the same too? Now let us talk about November.
November was a hectic month! But am I complaining about it?
No! Definitely not. One of the best things of the month for me is if it begins
on a weekend and November was just perfect to have begun on a Sunday. Also a
month that started off by spending time with my bestie and then meeting my
genius entrepreneur friend has to be good.
Work was okay in November but what kept me busy were the
choir practices. There is this musical which is being organized by the church I
go to. The songs for which had to be sung and recorded by us. And that meant
daily choir practices. But the end result was worth the effort. My first studio
recording after all!
It was on the same day as that of the recording that I
attended a book launch. It was the launch of Preeti Shenoy’s “Why we love the
way we do?”. The best part was not just getting an author signed copy and pictures
with the author but also meeting my blogger friends. I met Swathi Shenoy whom I
have wanted to meet for long. I was introduced to another fellow blogger
Gayatri Aptekar. I also met my bestie Ramya, Shriraksha and my another blogger friend
Sachin at the launch.
Speaking of blogging, I managed to write 10 blog posts
during November which is a lot better than not writing any in October. One of
the interesting things about blogging that happened in November is the Blog
Buddy initiative by Blog Chatter. I have got a lot of new blogger friends
because of this initiative. Thanks to it I have a lot new blogs to read now
after a tiring day at work. Reading books has taken a back seat as I hardly
find time for it. There are a lot of books in my cupboard which are waiting to
be read. I want to finish reading them!
Usually my post ends with the blogging and reading but this
time there is more and that is sports! Yes November saw a lot of sporting
action. I have played Table Tennis on a regular basis but this time I did
participate in a tournament and ended up being the Runner up in the singles as
well as the doubles at office. I also participated in the inter Bosch offices
Volley ball tournament and I ended up being the runner up with an almost broken
arm (Yeah, it still hurts!)
I didn’t go home in November but I didn’t feel homesick as I
kept myself busy. I do miss home though and that is why I am looking forward to
December where I have planned to spend quality time at home. December is one of
my favourite months because of Christmas! Yay! And I have decided to blog each
day of December in order to reach my target of 100 posts for the year 2015.
Hope I can do that. I had a wonderful November except for the incessant
Bangalore rain! How did November treat you? What are you looking forward to in
December? Let me know.
