I started writing fiction only recently. And the fiction I wrote was never too long- either with 5 sentences or with 100 words and on some rare occasions something around a thousand words. It isn't that I don't like to write fiction- I really do! But time is what stops me from writing fiction! I have a dream of writing a novel someday but I don't really know when! Between all those numerous formulas, those circuits and those lines of code that dream is somewhere pushed to the bottom. I know that I still need to learn a lot to attempt something as such but then someday I have to take the first step right? And since I didn't have time to make a story of a few chapters on my own, I signed in immediately when Blog Adda announced its Game of Blogs activity as a part of Celebrate Blogging.
10 different people from different parts of the country and all of us were supposed to be a team. Many of us didn't even know at least one other member of the team before. But this didn't seem to be a challenge at all. After a few introductory mails and few messages on Whatsapp, we became the team that we were supposed to be! That was how Team Alphabet Soup was formed!
As the number of people increases you have more ideas and that was exactly what happened when we started discussing the plot when Blog Adda revealed that characters and the rules. Some posts were planned and written well in advance, and some posts were those last minute ones! But after all the connecting of dots from others posts and writing a chapter, we came up with something and that feels good! When we first started discussing the plot, we never knew how the story would it. We went with the flow, made use of all the twists and turns that Blog Adda had to offer! So here are the 29 chapters that we wrote:
The journey of writing all these chapters together has been a wonderful one. This was a wonderful opportunity indeed all thanks to Blog Adda. Let me know how is our story :)
